Keyword research is critical to a successful blog or website — that is assuming you are in it to make a profit. If not, write what ever makes you happy. But if you are like most of us capitalist, you want web visitors and you want them to be interested in what you have to sell.
But do you know what keywords your potential customers are entering when searching for the product or service you offer? Cornering this one aspect of search engine optimization is extremely important, and can literally transform your site to one with modest traffic, to one that is full of high quality traffic on a daily basis. There are plenty of tools on the market that can help you achieve your research goals. This site will feature discussions of those tools and other concepts to help you get more traffic to your website.
People often start searching with broad results in mind. However as they get closer to making a decision, they narrow the results by adding more keyword to their search. The "long tail" in search can be anything from three words to as many as seven or eight. It is of critical importance to establish a web presence that shows up when your potential customer enters that longer keyword phrase in the search box. This means that you most likely will need a detailed keyword analysis to find out what your customers are really searching for with their keywords.
Just as themes develop in business, they also develop in keyword queries from your potential customers. Just picture a retail business that is constantly flooded with unrelated people looking for the same product, at the same time. Obviously this means that the product is popular, and with keyword research, this occurs all the time. But there are literally thousands of people searching every day with keyword phrases that you had never thought about using on your website. We will explore how to find those phrases.
Since many of your competitors are already doing this research, you need to get stated now. Conduct exhaustive keyword research and implement your findings so you might finally leap frog that competitor ahead of you in the natural search results.

I work from home, so I get to see all the various foot traffic through the neighborhood during the day. One day, I caught a guy going through people’s trash cans in the alley behind our house.
I immediately told him to get lost, and then called the cops. To my great surprise, the dispatcher actually argued with me as to whether going through people’s trash was a crime! I asked him if he’d ever heard of identity theft. He still wasn’t helpful, so I reported him to the block captain for our neighborhood watch.
Still, it’s obvious that the cops around here aren’t necessarily going to be of any help in preventing identity theft. So after catching that guy, I invested in a paper shredder. Anything that has my information on it — anything at all — gets run through that shredder before I put it into the trash.
Identity thieves are often resourceful folks, so you need to be really careful. They can piece together your identity from lots of different pieces of trash — a signature here, an address there, etc. They can also piece together documents that aren’t shredded finely enough. Home shredders or older paper shredders sometimes don’t shred documents into small enough pieces, making it too easy for someone to piece it back together. High security shredders do the best job of making sure any information is obliterated.
I learned from catching this guy in our trash, and from the dispatcher’s nonchalance when I called the cops, that protecting your identity is really up to you. A paper shredder may be the best investment you ever make!

Many students find that their entrance into college coincides with developing a strong interest in social causes. Unfortunately, they also find that the habits of college life often conflict with those causes. For example, students at Brooks Institute photography school may be interested in environmental activism but may find that their busy course load leaves them little time for raising green awareness on campus.
That doesn’t mean that there’s nothing they can do. Here are some ways students at Brooks could be green:
- See what green efforts the school has in place and support them. Recycling lunchtime leftovers like soda cans, for example.
- Use school projects to explore green issues. There’s a huge movement to create green art and green photography. Your college projects are a great time to get involved in that.
- Set a green goal. It’s hard to remember to be green when you’re busy with school. Setting a green goal for yourself - such as adding one eco-friendly action to your routine each month - can keep you on top of your activism without compromising your academics.
It isn’t just Brooks students that are interested in being green. Other creative schools (such as the International Academy of Design and Technology in Detroit or Collins graphic design school) also have a high percentage of eco-concerned students. Take small steps to do your part.

If you could choose to be taller than you are, how tall would you like to be? Chances are that the answer you gave is just a few inches taller than your actual height. That’s because the average person would like to be a little bit taller than he or she currently is but wouldn’t want to experience a drastic change in height.
This primarily has to do with the fact that we get used to our bodies the way that they are. Someone who is about 5′6" might have an interest in being 5′8′ or 5′9". This would give the individual the added benefits that he perceives as being associated with a height increase. In contrast, if he chose to be 6′6", he would have to experience an entirely different way of life because the way that things would be perceived in the world would be radically different.
Of course, there are some people out there who would like to experience a humongous height growth. Those people tend to be creative types that are very interested in seeing the world from a completely different way. Imagine always being 5′2" and then suddenly growing to be 6′0". The things that you would notice in the world around you would be very different. The artistic person could find this appealing.
But if you’re like the average person, you’d only choose to gain 1-3 inches. You might want to learn some ways to grow taller but you wouldn’t be seeking to lengthen your limbs to an unreasonable height. The fact is that most of us more or less like the way that we are!

There are many who question whether or not taking on an accredited online college degree will be the right choice. As returning to school is no small matter, it is only fair to question such a decision. If individuals are going to devote time and energy into bettering themselves, the results should be real, legitimate and noticeable. While students of online learning only pay for the classes and materials they use, that financial investment should also be worthwhile. The material should be up to date and easy to understand; the online program features should be easy to navigate as well.
Whether one is interested in online associate degrees or master’s degrees, it will be easy to see that legitimate and accredited online colleges aggressively pursue better education. Online colleges depend on attracting students to enroll. However, they cannot get a good reputation by offering health care degrees and online paralegal degrees full of shoddy, impartial information. This is why classes are taught by professional instructors with real world experience in the subjects they teach. State of the art features such as chat, instant messenger and even webcam are often used to contact instructors in the event comments or questions arise about assignments.

Some people love going shopping. They get a thrill from browsing through their favorite stores, battling the crowds in malls and bargaining with sales people at craft fairs. Then there are the rest of us.
Although most of us like getting new things, a lot of us don’t really like to go shopping. We don’t like the crowds and we really don’t have the time to hit the malls. That’s why there’s such a huge industry for retailers like ShopNBC that provide us with the option to shop from home and using coupons like ShopNBC coupon codes.
There are three different ways that someone interested in buying their products could shop through this retailer. The most popular is to view items on their television channel and order by phone. However, direct mail ordering and online ordering are other popular shopping choices. All three options let the buyer get what she wants when she has the time to get it.
Of course, you can go to an individual business site to get what you’re seeking as well. For example, if you wanted a Discount Watch you could find discount watch coupon codes and shop the site directly. For jewelry, an example would be Limoges jewelry coupons and order right from there. However, people tend to prefer sites like ShopNBC that provide a variety of different products in one place. Even when we’re shopping from home, we want things to be as convenient as they can be.
