I own a restaurant downtown.  Ever since we opened in 2000, we have been getting a lot of customers.  It may be because our food tastes great and we see to it that everything is clean and customers are attended to very well.

Even now that we are hit with financial crisis, we still have plenty of customers coming in.  In fact, we are thinking of opening another branch and one of our future goals is to franchise our products.

But I need to be equipped with business education to handle the growth.  I am considering taking an online masters business administration so that I can do my studies while still managing my business.

Many colleges offer an online college degree for working people.  But for me, I am looking for a school that offers an online MBA program that is internationally recognized so that in case my business fails, I can have a backup plan by applying in another company for work.

Having an MBA is really a good investment.  Business is a tricky and very competitive arena.  And although many successful businessmen were able to make it with knowledge and skills based on personal experience alone, having a degree that teaches one the scientific way of dealing with business will assure one of success in the competition in an accelerated pace.
