Where Old Jewelry Goes When It Dies

I have a nice gold chain necklace that I wear all of the time. It’s thin, understated and a simple design. But I like it. Well that is until last night. Last night it got caught on the door handle of my car. And it broke. Not on the clasp either. It broke where I know I won’t be able to get it fixed. And seriously, who gets a necklace caught on a car door anyway? That’s just dumb.
Anyway, I took it into the house and tossed it into the bottom of my jewelry box. That is where old jewelry goes when it dies. In fact if you look at the bottom of my jewelry box it looks like there might be a Mr. T starter kit in there.
So this morning as I’m eating breakfast it dawns on me: I’m never going to wear any of the jewelry in the bottom of my jewelry box ever again. And as I’m thinking about that a commercial comes on for one of those sell gold jewelry for cash places. What a great idea. I could get cash for gold that I’m never going to use again. The real question now is going to be just how much cash will I get for all of this old jewelry?

selling you old gold jewelry in the mail is a great deal if you are not in a city with a few jewelers, but if there are jewelers in your city take it to a few jewelers and read all the reviews of the jewelers. then sell your gold jewelry to the highest price jeweler.
