I am considering the investment into a tattoo. There are several tattoo designs that I am thinking about but I am not too sure which one is the right choice for me. My question for everyone that reads this is simple. Is it wrong to consider skulls? I am not someone that is overly religious and I am far from being morbid. Yet, I am interested in the look and feel of these. I like the look because it makes me think of some of the specifically emotional and vested times in my life. On the other hand, I do not want people to think of my choices as being too over the top or, even worse, crude.

Skull tattoos seem to be to be a good fit. I am hoping to find an artist that an create a tattoo for me that aids me in standing out without the undertones of the gothic look. For those who already enjoy this look and for those that have gotten their tattoos like this in the past, what helped you to decide on the right one? I think that with the right person doing the work, and with the right tattoo design, I can have a very great looking end result. If I can’t do this, I might go with star tattoos instead.
