Keyword Research

Keyword research is critical to a successful blog or website — that is assuming you are in it to make a profit. If not, write what ever makes you happy. But if you are like most of us capitalist, you want web visitors and you want them to be interested in what you have to sell.
But do you know what keywords your potential customers are entering when searching for the product or service you offer? Cornering this one aspect of search engine optimization is extremely important, and can literally transform your site to one with modest traffic, to one that is full of high quality traffic on a daily basis. There are plenty of tools on the market that can help you achieve your research goals. This site will feature discussions of those tools and other concepts to help you get more traffic to your website.
People often start searching with broad results in mind. However as they get closer to making a decision, they narrow the results by adding more keyword to their search. The “long tail” in search can be anything from three words to as many as seven or eight. It is of critical importance to establish a web presence that shows up when your potential customer enters that longer keyword phrase in the search box. This means that you most likely will need a detailed keyword analysis to find out what your customers are really searching for with their keywords.
Just as themes develop in business, they also develop in keyword queries from your potential customers. Just picture a retail business that is constantly flooded with unrelated people looking for the same product, at the same time. Obviously this means that the product is popular, and with keyword research, this occurs all the time. But there are literally thousands of people searching every day with keyword phrases that you had never thought about using on your website. We will explore how to find those phrases.
Since many of your competitors are already doing this research, you need to get stated now. Conduct exhaustive keyword research and implement your findings so you might finally leap frog that competitor ahead of you in the natural search results.

Excellent post!
Why not adding some useful tools for keyword research?
I usually work with wordtracker but lately I have found Adwords Keyword Tool very interesting and, most importantly it’s free.
Your readers can find it here:

However even before looking for keywords there is some research that needs to be done and I have found a great tool for keyword research to uncover “seed” words;
It’s called Keyword Search Engine and it does the following:
Generate a list of power keywords for Google Adwords or Keyword Research.
Follow the directions on the right for instructions on to use these generated keywords to estimate the Supply and Demand of a particular clusters / segments of a market.

I have got some information which your visitors might be interested in.
Actually keyword research process involves three steps-
1)Keywword Discovery
2)Keyword Analysis
3)Keyword selection
And it is not that a single keyword tool like, overture, word tracker and adwords will do all the three steps for you unless you are paying them. But you can do the research yourself. You can find the etails of keyword research at-

Great blog.. you have a lot of very useful information here. I also like WordTracker, the free version does well for me. I also use Googles keyword tool, but since it does not give you numbers, I’m a little turned away from it. Thanks!

Its easy to determine what are the keywords for your blog/site by yourself. But if you cant do that , dont pay for such work . In my opinion its just pointless to pay for keyword research. Google Adsense features are all you need .
