What makes one hospital stand out from all of the other hospitals? Is it the landscaping or how shiny the building is? Is it the location? Perhaps it could be how big or tall it is? Well I don’t think any of those reasons are the real reason that some hospitals are considered to be the very best.
I think the key aspect that sets one hospital apart when compared to all of the other hospitals is the quality of the physicians which they attract, are able to hire, and most importantly retain. After all, hospitals are really just a great big business. And any business needs one thing above all others: really good people. So in order to get and to keep the best people, these hospitals need to do what they can to recruit the best doctors.
One tool that the recruiters for these hospitals can use is offering disability insurance for physicians to their prospective doctors. Any doctor that has gotten disability insurance quotes knows that disability insurance companies are going to charge them a lot if they go about getting it for themselves. So it is a wonderful recruiting tool that hospitals use to attract the best of the best when it comes to doctors.
