Health insurance in Miami Florida is something that my friend wanted to make sure she got when she moved down there from Ohio for a new job.    Luckily her employer was already a part of a FL group health insurance policy.  The medical insurance in Florida that she had far surpassed what she had from her former employer in Ohio.  It provided for a lot more than she had coverage for on the old policy.  Visits to specialists, and to urgent care centers were covered as well as emergency room visits.  She has never had to utilize the visits to the urgent care or emergency room, but it is nice to know that they are available in case she needs them.

Being a part of a group insurance policy proved to be beneficial for her company as well.  The costs of health insurance are allocated over all of your employees and it makes it easier to cover people because the risk is assigned to all people instead of just one person.  Companies can also get tax breaks because of the costs associated with the cost of providing insurance for their employees.  It really becomes a win/win for everyone involved.
