The Average Desired Height Increase

If you could choose to be taller than you are, how tall would you like to be? Chances are that the answer you gave is just a few inches taller than your actual height. That’s because the average person would like to be a little bit taller than he or she currently is but wouldn’t want to experience a drastic change in height.

This primarily has to do with the fact that we get used to our bodies the way that they are. Someone who is about 5′6" might have an interest in being 5′8′ or 5′9". This would give the individual the added benefits that he perceives as being associated with a height increase. In contrast, if he chose to be 6′6", he would have to experience an entirely different way of life because the way that things would be perceived in the world would be radically different.

Of course, there are some people out there who would like to experience a humongous height growth. Those people tend to be creative types that are very interested in seeing the world from a completely different way. Imagine always being 5′2" and then suddenly growing to be 6′0". The things that you would notice in the world around you would be very different. The artistic person could find this appealing.

But if you’re like the average person, you’d only choose to gain 1-3 inches. You might want to learn some ways to grow taller but you wouldn’t be seeking to lengthen your limbs to an unreasonable height. The fact is that most of us more or less like the way that we are!
