Your Weight Gain May Not Be Your Fault

Most people who gain weight and can’t take it off again will blame themselves for the problem. We have an idea in this society that being fat is related to being lazy and not taking care of yourself properly. Although that’s true for some people in some instances, it’s often not actually the case. Many people truly can’t help the fact that they have gained weight. It doesn’t benefit anyone in our society for these people to blame themselves for being fat. Instead it’s important to gain an understanding of the true reasons for weight gain so that we can take care of the actual problem and become a more fit society.

If you’re the kind of person who has tried every single diet out there from dr siegals cookie diet to the Smart Soups plan then you know that sometimes what you eat doesn’t have anything to do with how many pounds you gain or lose. A large percentage of people gain weight because of problems with their metabolism or hormones. These are problems that you can’t fix just by eating right or eating less. Working with a doctor to determine the root cause of your weight gain is the only way to understand what’s really going on so that you can resolve the problem.

The amount of people that are overweight due to hormones or metabolism abnormalities is very small compared to those that just don’t properly take care of themselves. A lot of people have an elbow issue. They bend their elbow too much to feed their face.

I have a sister that had a thyroid problem for a long time. Eventually with the right medication, she was able to get her weight down, but it took a while.
