On July 15th, the Florida Power and Light Company was able to receive approval from the Florida Public Service Commission to move forward with plans to construct three solar energy centers here. What does this mean? It means that, for the first time, there will be a utility generated solar power option. This is will be the second largest supplier of solar power in this method in the country.
