Who’s Had an Indoor Wall Fountain?

I have a question about a water wall fountain. I’d really like to have one in my house, but I prefer one of those Wall fountains that shoots the water in a sheet that comes forward rather than the kind that has the water just run down the wall.
My question is this: how much allowance do I have to have around it to allow for splash? See, the area I’m thinking of has polished tile all around, and even the tiniest mist of spray would build up throughout the day to create a real slip hazard. For that matter, would one of those fountains where the water just runs down the wall have the same kind of potential to make people slip?
I’d rather have one of these indoors, but due to the tile, maybe I just have to put it out onto my deck or something. But I know I’ve seen these indoors on the DIY Network or something, so there must be a way to make it work. Or I guess I could just go visit a pond or patio store to see just how they work it out. Because even if I had these over a mat or a carpeted area, wouldn’t that then just eventually create a mold problem if I’m not careful?
