Seeking Steroid Info

My mother suffers from osteoporosis and I need some advice on treatment plans for her. She is currently in a very pleasant nursing home but has suffered from a broken bone and two fractures in the past eight months. Someone had suggested looking into legal steroids to help her condition but I’m not sure if this is the right route to take. To buy steroids online makes me think I’m purchasing testosterone affecting drugs which surely can’t help an old woman in my mother’s position. Nevertheless, a doctor friend recommended a drug named anadrol which is said to treat osteoporosis as well as stimulate muscle growth in undernourished patients. Is this the right road to take? While my mother is happy in her current place of residence, I don’t want her to have to take giant horsepills everyday. She is nearly 80-years-old and each time she takes new medication, I fear the side affects will be too much for her to take. How would a drug like anadrol work? Would it affect her hormones or make her physically ill? Would she need to continue taking it indefinitely or would she be in one of those temporary steroid cycles? I would appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you.
