Sports Stars in Cold Weather States

I’ve always wondered about players here where I live. Whether a Bronco, an Av, a Nugget or a Rockie, I wonder whether they aren’t a little bit sad they are employed where it’s pretty cold. Especially those baseball players-do they go home to a warm state? Or do they live here and just keep a little Florida villa on the side?
Our Broncos coach, Mike Shanahan, just got fired, and he was in the middle of building a huge house here. Now, if he gets hired far away, do they just buy a new house there? Do they stop building this one? It must be hard to be a professional coach or player and have to switch teams and locales all the time. I mean, do you uproot the family? What if you hate where you’re playing? Do you leave the little woman alone in that Orlando villa while you play in Detroit? I already know that when you leave a spouse alone they can start roaming. It doesn’t seem like they’d have any time at all to fly home and see the family, so I guess the family just has to move, too. Boy, would I hate to move from a warm weather state to a cold one, but at least it’s not so bad here in Colorado.
