I love betting on sports!  Its fun and I usually end up a little ahead.  It certainly isn’t going to make me rich but that isn’t the point for me.  I just have one little problem.  I am a huge Steelers fan and I just cannot make any kind of bet against them.  It’s pretty stupid.  I’ll make bets that I know that I’m going to lose because I just cannot make myself bet against them.

I was telling a co-worker about this.  After he stopped laughing at me, he suggested using sports picks when I place a bet.  If I based my bets on NFL picks and not on my loyalty to my team, I figure that I can make smarter choices and just blame the picks when I have to bet against the Steelers.  I know, I know, this doesn’t exactly make sense but we get a bit emotional about our football here in Pittsburgh.  It isn’t like I’m going to waste my energy on our baseball team!

My co-worker also told me that he wins more bets when he uses handicapping information from his online sportsbook.  This is the perfect situation for me.  I can win more money and blame the picks when I have to bet against the Steelers!
